I enjoy the ancient art of papermaking equally with using the latest version of Photoshop, but within and beneath it all is a love of drawing. Handmade papers and digital collages are combined with my drawings and richly textured painted surfaces to create my work. My handmade paper formations utilize overbeaten abaca pulps combined with wire, reed, found objects & drawing.
My objective for the viewer has always been to provide a sense of visual joy.
