What I am trying to educe is not the actuality of what I am seeing or hearing but the distillation of the sensations into a new structural form.  My goal is to transform the auditory and visual information to the essentials:  the juxtaposition of emptiness and complexity, rich vibrant colors and neutrals, vast scale with small modules.  The paintings reflect with simple structure, the personal observations of my daily life and the input of media.  The surprising results are works that are dance-like, musical and rhythmic.
